Violin Lessons in Avon

Linda Beers Violinist

Reach your full potential in your violin playing by studying with me in my beautiful studio in Avon, Connecticut. I have a passion for violin playing that I have turned into a career. Most of all, I love sharing my passion for music with my students!

Violin Lessons for Students of All Ages

For students from age 4: Suzuki violin lessons are perfect for you! You start out studying your instrument by playing games and having fun. Your parent will also learn how to play those games with you at home. Learn more about the Suzuki method.
For teenagers: Do you have an audition coming up, hoping to add regional and all-state orchestra participation to your college application? I can help you with that. My goal is to help students feel successful on the violin whether playing a solo, in a chamber ensemble, or in orchestra.
For adults: Did you play as a child or are you starting as a total beginner? Maybe you are retired now and finally have the time and resources to pursue your dream of playing the violin. I have successfully taught many older adults.

About the Violin Studio

My studio environment is comfortable and nurturing. Students receive violin instruction based on their individual needs. When teaching each student, I not only draw upon my more than 30 years experience teaching the violin, but also my conservatory training in violin masterworks and technique. I offer both Suzuki and traditional violin lessons. I am registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and I am a certified Connecticut public school music teacher.
In-person and virtual lessons are available.
